Cairene Crafts offers the chance for the AUC Tahrir CultureFest visitors to experience a glimpse of the cultural richness of Cairo via witnessing the mastery of three artisans as they demonstrate traditional crafts: woodcarving, brass engraving and Khiyamiya. Operating daily from noon until 8 pm throughout the six-day festival, each craftsman will showcase their expertise at dedicated tables. Attendees will have the opportunity to observe the intricate techniques and cultural significance behind these crafts up close. Additionally, an exhibition table will feature select items from each craft, providing further insight into their historical and cultural context.
