Filmmaker Amr Bayoumi's award-winning film is about the moving of the famous statue of Ramses II from Ramsis Square in 2006, but at a deeper level, it brilliantly tackles themes like heritage, family, memories, personal histories, as well as the way popular culture and political figures use ancient symbols. The film will be accompanied by a Q&A with the director moderated by Saeed Kabeel, AUC Tahrir Campus Senior Manager, Programming. The film is directed by Amr Bayoumi.
